The kids at Baan Unrak had a fun-filled day on October 12th! A lot of creative energy is being brought by four volunteers. They held a lively class where the children made a variety of wonderful handcrafts, including Macrame bags,
beaded bracelets,
and even cute dolls.
Based on their areas of interest, the kids were divided into groups, and even the staff and caregivers couldn't help but join in the fun!
It was a day filled with tons of creative magic, colorful materials, and laughter. The children loved getting right into the projects, experimenting with different methods, and most importantly finding out what they liked most.
They had so much fun, as evidenced by the smiles on their faces!
They were allowed to express their creativity and learn skills that would eventually enable them to support themselves. Who knows, perhaps one of them will eventually make a living from their trade!
The children's creativity from the workshop was stunning, each piece showcasing their individuality and hard work. It was touching to see them so thrilled with their accomplishments, as they took tremendous pride in their work.
At Baan Unrak, we're dedicated to assisting our kids in acquiring new abilities that will influence their futures, whether those abilities be hobbies or jobs.
With the skills they've learned, we want them to be able to stand tall and proud on their own as they mature. For the children, workshops like this open up a world of possibilities in addition to providing hands-on enjoyment.
Thanks to Culture Connex for funding the Artcrew Armada team to visit and teach our children these wonderful crafts. Your support made this workshop possible, and we are incredibly appreciative of the chance you have given our children to learn and create!
We hope that more friends will join us in generating these meaningful experiences, even though we do need support to continue these engaging events.
