Every month Baan Unrak children load up with rice and food parcels and head out into the jungle. There are hidden rickety huts of those for whom every grain of rice is the price of gold.
All our wards are people in need. These are lonely elderly and disabled people and mothers with small children.
It's great to see the glee of the kids paddling down the washed-out paths to deliver another sack of rice. This is something really important, teaching children to care for others.
Many of our children have gone through great difficulties in life, and the more valuable is their desire to help others.
