Growing Through Giving

At Baan Unrak, we believe that giving back to the community is not just an act of charity, but a vital part of who we are. Many people have always been there to support us, whether through donations, volunteering, or simply sharing kind words and encouragement.

In return, we see it as our responsibility to help uplift those around us, fostering a spirit of collaboration and mutual respect.

At Baan Unrak Foundation, everyone has responsibilities, no matter how big or small they may seem. Whether it's cleaning....

cooking...

picking up litter; it's about taking responsibility for our environment. We manage waste and separating recyclables are daily practices that teach us the importance of caring for our home and the earth.

farming...

selling at the market...

baking...

packing rice for relief...

or providing relief in remote areas, each task is treated as an important duty.

These responsibilities are not just chores; they are acts of service to our community, a way of giving back, and a way to keep everyone active and engaged.

However, our commitment to service goes beyond just helping our fellow humans; we also extend our compassion to animals.

They take on the responsibility of nurturing these animals until they are healed, after which they release them back into their natural habitat.

Every day, the older children at Baan Unrak dedicate at least 1-2 hours to their tasks. This commitment instills a sense of responsibility and community spirit, reminding us all that every contribution, no matter how small, helps to build a stronger, more supportive environment.

Through these daily activities, the children learn the value of hard work, the importance of community service, and the joy of helping others.

By taking on these roles, they actively participate in improving our home and community, learning that every effort counts and that giving back is a way to grow together.

This commitment to caring for people, animals, and plants strengthens our community and teaches the children empathy and compassion. At Baan Unrak, we see all living beings as part of a cosmic family, deserving of love and kindness. This approach helps children understand the importance of caring for every member of our cosmic family.
